Argentina, Rosario!

I have had my call for  a few days now but still have to remind myself that I get to go to ARGENTINA!  I am thrilled to be serving with my cousin Elder Hill and can't wait to go to the MTC the same day as Chad.  It's all just so exciting!

The call feels so right.  Plenty of adventure to keep my curious side satisfied, yet safe enough to keep my realistic side (and my parents) satisfied.  Argentina seems so perfect.  I have been called to be a missionary and Argentina seems like the perfect place to fulfill that.

The Lord knows us all so well.

The night I opened my call was a long one.  We had to wait for my dad's flight to get in, which wasn't expected to land until 9:30.  Thankfully his flight was ahead of schedule and it left early.  He got to Boise about 9:00 and we picked him up, ate some Canadian candy and got ready!  At 9:40 we started streaming  live for relatives to watch and anxiously waited about 10 minutes for everyone to get on.  After we couldn't take it any longer we had Dad flip the coin.  Chad decided to be tails.  I was therefore heads.  And........tails won!  Chad went first.  His call is to Chile, Concepcion.  He freaked out knowing it was the same city as Dallin.  Then I went, and I freaked out because my mission call is the same as Thomas'.

It was so fun to open the calls.  We both leave July 3, 2013 for the Provo MTC.  SWEET.

Until then, my To-Do List seems a little overwhelming.  Mostly getting travel arrangements/passport/visa stuff all figured out.  I got all the passport stuff turned in today and am just waiting on the church to send my visa paperwork to me.  I have deferred, granted my parents access to my financial stuff here at BYU, and am getting fingerprints from the campus police to send in with my visa paperwork....just to prove that I'm not a criminal.

I have heard rumors that Argentina is sort of a hard country to get a visa to, but I think I have enough time for it all to work out.  If I can get FBI clearance with my innocent fingerprints in time, all should go well.  Hopefully I can make it!

The hardest part is wanting to do school......right now school feels like a burden.  I don't want to do it, it makes me tired, my classes seem more boring than before, and googling Argentina is too easy of a distraction.  It's only 4 1/2 weeks though, so I can make it!

I am so excited.....and just want to go right now!  Ahhh, waiting is so hard.
